New Type Moon Anime Announced: 428

The latest work of Type Moon, the famous producers of such acclaimed visual novels as Fate/stay Night and Tsuki Hime, has not even been released yet, and is not even a full visual novel, but we find an anime adaptation has already been decided.
The work in question is a visual novel addition, or “bonus scenario”, included with 428〜封鎖された渋谷で〜 / 428 – Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de – (428 – In Blockaded Shibuya).
428 is a Sega/Chunsoft developed suspense “sound novel” for the Wii due early in December, similar to a visual novel but with photos instead of 2D illustrations, and Type Moon are responsible only for the extra scenario.
It’s not clear whether the anime title will carry the same title as the visual novel scenario, or whether it will be an OVA or TV series.
Even the names of the Type Moon characters are still under wraps, but fans will certainly be anticipating the new anime and visual novel from now on, so hopefully more details will be forthcoming soon.

Basically Type-Moon have produced a mini-visual novel which is somehow related to the main story, and that is packaged with the game. Everything else is Chunsoft.

She looks like a cross between Ryougi and Arc I'd say. The guy looks a bit like Nrvnsqer (albeit less pale). Man Type Moon has got to get some more twists in their character designs instead of using the their old characters as bases.

It's a girl, she's just a typical flat-chested Type-Moon tsundere from the looks of it.
I think it must be a girl looking at the very last image - her left breast is definitely too much for a man. Also two out of three characters being male surely isn't going to happen.
The original is purely live action, so actually, TM are more than likely just doing the designs for the anime adaptation.
Designs or not, new Type-Moon anime is a new win anime.

Pfft. Depends really. Fate anime was horrible, Tsukihime anime was decent, KNK is really good though.

Fate/Stay Night was not horrible, it was at least decent for a canon storyline. Also Kenji Kawai's awesome soundtracks helped a lot.
I'm sorry, but the Tsukihime anime was several notches below the Fate anime. Not just as a show on its own but as an adaptation as well.
wonder if the story is canonical with all TM's previous work (Kara no Kyoukai/Tsukihime/Fate/etc)...
