The just released Ikki Tousen Great Guardians DVD 1 has nipples, breasts and even bukkake galore, but in something of an affront to the recently established norms of DVD marketing, all but the bukkake was included in (at least some of) the TV broadcasts, with the bukkake only coming in the form of extra images, rather than a proper in episode scene. How unfortunate.
Above was the broadcast version, below is the DVD version. As you can see, matters are already optimal.
It is difficult to know whether to praise the series for not caving to censors or making a cash grab, or condemn it for not offering much in the way of in-content extras.
The DVD version does offer plenty of extraneous promotional footage and the like, and even extra illustrations by nipple master Satoshi Urushihara, but it seems after all few DVD editions are prepared to go as far as a luminary title like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in making dramatic improvements to an already quality product. Still, it doesn’t seem a bad purchase for fans.
Just curious, anyone have any idea when this will be out on dvd? I want it so bad T.T

At first, when I heard bukkake and it being in a mainstream series, I thought “NO EFFING WAY.”
Then, realizing that it was Ikkitousen and in context with the stuff that’s popular in recent anime, bukkake was the only logical conclusion.
I’m even more tempted to buy the dvd now.
It would be nice to get this series eventually in the US but does anyone know if the second series, Dragon Destiny, will be coming out either with subs or dubbed? I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Media Blasters is releasing Dragon Destiny. Apparently, their trying to get some of the original voice actors from the first english dub. The last update from them said DD would be out next year in the US.
