A Vipper has returned from his visit to popular German anime event Connichi 2008, and was kind enough to share copious photos of his trip, focusing on cosplay.
The event in question was held from the 12th to the 14th of September, at the Congress Palais Kassel (right in the middle of Germany), offering some historical surroundings.
This marks the seventh time it has been held, and an attendence of some 12,000 over three days is claimed, with a high proportion of cosplayers. All manner of anime related activities are on hand, but as ususal cosplay is amongst the most photogenic.
This Saber cosplayer caught my eye:
If you’re looking for even more photos, there are official galleries of events past and present. Or if you are looking to reaffirm your faith with something a little more stringent…
I want Artoria to receive all my mana
Good old times when cosplay was made by ugly nerds for having fun.
Shitapai!
Looking at German women is like looking at my Grandmother..
The most biggest problem with cosplaying is that not every costume fits every body measure^^U
I mean Miku and Haruhi defenetly look bad beyond 80 kg…> >
And so does Sasuke…T T
Even though Europe lacks cosplay stores my experience here in Hungary is that real cosplay fans put a lot of effort into their costumes^^ Which is in my point of view great!! =)
