As we saw before, shoujo manga seem to escape all censorship and are packed full of scenes able to put even full on ero-manga to shame. Shonen manga, by comparison, are tame, heavily censored things, or are they?
Leaving aside the likes of To Love-Ru, which is known to go further than mere nipple exposure even in its serialised edition, and disqualifying Kanokon for being a children’s anime, a notable title in the demographic which shakes this reputation for chastity is brought to our attention in the form of いちご100% / Ichigo 100% (Strawberry 100%), which completed serialisation in Weekly Shonen Jump some time ago.
There are probably other shonen manga at this level, or perhaps beyond it, but I’m having difficulty naming any?
Randomly coming across this article brings back some memories of reading this, kind of hated the ending. Didn’t realize this was a Shounen Jump title, it was pretty ero compared to most but being shounen jump would explain why nothing ever actually happen when things got too heated up.
shonen sucks
Haha wow, brings back memories… I feel like reading it again..
IT`S GOOD
wait, so this stuff is created and intended for Japanese kids? I mean, i know the little guys love Kanokon over there, but that wasn’t and isn’t directly intended for that audience, right?
don’t mistake teens from kids -_-
yeah, but Shonen means young teens, like preteens and up, right?
