Her nipple is “covered” by a tattoo? Of a flower? As usual, what goes through the mind of a censor in determining what to allow or disallow is absolutely incomprehensible. One of the strangest pieces of nipple exposure seen to date.
Aside from the matter of this brief and idiosyncratic exposure/censorship, the unfavourable evaluations of the latest To Love-Ru episodes have been added to, by what seems to have been universally agreed to be the worst episode so far, number 23. So bad it may be interesting?
The episode makes heavy use of the washi (Japanese paper) style texture you can see here, which looks awfully similar to the style employed by the faultless Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei anime adaptation. A novel visual style does not get the episode out of hot water for having a nonsensical story, however.
At this stage it might be best to be content with the manga, which continues to be well received, especially by fans of loli tentacle raep.
With minor ero-reworking on the DVD edition, the issue of bad animation and inadequate exposure could still be tackled, but much criticism has also been levelled at story issues, which will be left untouched…
That episode was so random.
The nonsensical story was intentional… it was a dream, right? I don’t understound the outrage.
