New Haruhi Wii Game

As if the upcoming dance game and DS game weren’t enough, now the Wii is set to receive a second Haruhi game, provisionally titled 涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱 / Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu (strangely familiar title there).

The game is due to be an original story, a ship borne tale of the usual antics, told through the medium of an adventure game (in fact the dance game was also an adventure game, and so were the previous games – are we seeing a pattern here?). All the marketable characters will feature.

Rather than the usual tired formula of adventure games, the game is set to be an unusual tired formula, since it will have fully 3D characters, probably allowing for a greater level of fidelity. However, the choice of the Wii probably limits what we can expect graphically, although it is hardly likely to have a deleterious effect on their sales.

Sega gives the release as spring of 2009. Details below.
