Nearly five months in the making and released to coincide with Hatsune Miku’s birthday, this MAD is certainly a fitting tribute, being excellent in every respect. In fact, since its midnight release it has accrued some 25,000 playbacks, with 5,000 people favouriting it.
At fourteen minutes it is actually a re-realised medley of a variety of Nico classics; the much maligned Kaito provides supporting vocals thoughout, in something of a nice change. Pretty much all of the big hits are featured, so your favourite may well be featured.
