A lady (34) who viciously attacked seven male passersbys at a station, injuring six of them, has been overpowered and arrested, we hear. Her rampage was only stopped when her last victim, a student, subdued her, and police took custody of her.
It looks as if tragedy was only averted by her lack of RPG born wisdom – she picked only an ineffectual level 1 weapon with only a few centimetres of blade to work with. The blade was apparently compact enough to be fitted to her key ring. Expect a ban.
Probably nobody cares anymore about the reasons these maniacs give, but her motive displayed the usual lack of sense: “I wanted to kill my father, but couldn’t do it. Instead, I thought I’d take some fellow travellers down with me”. She was screaming “Kill me!” when being held down and awaiting the arrival of officers, it is said.
Her victims were not grievously injured. One suffered a wounded shirt.
These acts of stabbing and attempted stabbing have already become almost too numerous to relate; at least most stabbers seem to lack the special otaku training and high level Dragon Quest Dagger Knife to effect a truly effective slaughter.

So now Japan's ugly side is finally showing itself in the flood of such incidents. I wonder when the government will finally shake itself up and wake up to the fact that the society and the environment is what is causing all this.
