These recently released figure renditions of Haruhi and Nagato sporting electric guitars, and an attitude to match, caught my eye. Truly, the expression on Haruhi’s face is priceless – she looks suitably maniacal, for once. Nagato for her part has an appropriately blank expression.

In case you didn’t know, or more likely forgot, this is the Live Alive sequence in question (and yes, they did take certain liberties):

Haruhi is enthusiastically strumming an Italia Mondial Classic.

And Nagato’s guitar is apparently a Gibson SG Special White.

I think I’d be inclined to agree with a reviewer’s comment that the skin has a rather yellow tint to it. Finish looks slightly rough in places (Sega Prize aren’t known as a first rank maker), but with such an expression I am inclined to forgive.

I have both these figs, and for non-retail prize figs, they blow my nuts off.

I hate to be Mr. Anal, but Haruhi's guitar is actually an Italia Mondial II, not a Classic. The Classic has knobs where the EQ sliders are as well as a different selection of colors.

Just wanted to point that out.
