The wildly hyped 18th episode of Re:Zero has disappointed some due to it featuring essentially 25 minutes (2 minutes longer than regular episodes) of the protagonist’s ceaseless whining, though it seems that Subaru may have at last obtained some resolve in the process, hopefully leading to some actual plot progression.
