Would anyone happen to know what sort of “trousers” Tomoko wears? Fundoshi, perhaps?

You can see some rather fantastic craftsmanship in this Suzumiya Haruhi doll, and in certain very special respects (see below), there is exceptional attention to detail.
The cost? If this auction is anything to go by, a mere ¥90,000 ($900). The one you see here has apparently been modified, and is most definitely not for sale.

Miko in a breast comparison diagram – interesting (below). It would probably be asking for too much to have more sizes represented, but we can dream… The above image may a just be a placeholder to preserve the relative decency of the front page, but it too is rather interesting, giving the obscure names of the various parts of miko anatomy.

The initial and main Yukata Gallery has proven most popular, by far the most popular gallery published so far in fact, and it is easy to understand why; the tastefulness of much traditional Japanese female apparel is undeniable.
Since there were mainly yukata (light and cheap summer kimono) featured in that gallery, you may be interested to view a gallery instead consisting mainly of kimono proper (the fine silken garments which are much more expensive, both in labour to put on, and in terms of the materials used, than the relatively humble yukata).

“Girls in kawaii clothes” was how the Vippers described this gallery of Japanese girls, and who am I to argue? I’m not sure all of them could really be described as cute, with many being well towards the sexy or elegant end of the scale, but whatever the case there are some appealing images to be had, with a wide variety of interestingly dressed young ladies.
