Kyoto Animation have earned the praise even of critical 2channers, for we hear that their rendition of a key scene (or at least one fans are particular about), above, is completely faithful to, and even improves upon, the CG original from the visual novel, which you can see underneath it.

Shibuya psychological thriller and suspense anime Chaos;Head finally makes its appearance. An adaptation from the popular visual novel by Nitroplus (not an eroge as such), the title promises, and delivers, a very contemporary vision of murder and delusion in Shibuya and on the Internet.
What it does not deliver, however, is much in the way of sound production values.

The second episode of Clannad seems to continue in much the same vein as the first, with the consequence that fan enthusiasm is undampened. However, the addition of additional moe service, with the most memorable example being the cosplay visible above, seems to have only increased the delight felt by fans.

First an anime, due to air October 9th in various late night slots, now a port to the Xbox 360, due 2009 and to be titled Chaos;Head Noah, acclaimed adventure game Chaos;Head seems to be in the throes of conversion into a mixed media franchise.

Fans of the inscrutably complex web of adaptations of the 07th Expansion visual novels (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) will be interested to hear that the TV anime adaptation of うみねこのなく頃に / Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a murder mystery doujin visual novel along similar lines to their other titles, has been formally announced. Production activity is set to begin this summer, though release is still some way off.
