Recent and well received visual novel CHAOS;HEAD, by Nitroplus (Blassreiter, etc), is set to receive an anime adaptation

First an anime, due to air October 9th in various late night slots, now a port to the Xbox 360, due 2009 and to be titled Chaos;Head Noah, acclaimed adventure game Chaos;Head seems to be in the throes of conversion into a mixed media franchise.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni TV Anime Confirmed

A TV adaptation of うみねこのなく頃に / Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a murder mystery doujin visual novel along similar lines to their other titles, has been formally announced

Fans of the inscrutably complex web of adaptations of the 07th Expansion visual novels (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) will be interested to hear that the TV anime adaptation of うみねこのなく頃に / Umineko no Naku Koro ni, a murder mystery doujin visual novel along similar lines to their other titles, has been formally announced. Production activity is set to begin this summer, though release is still some way off.

The official homepage is not yet open (I prefer Interworx to Plesk), but the brief announcement can be read here.
