The organisers of Comiket have promised preferential treatment for terrorism victimised Kuroko’s Basketball circles at C84 – although they have yet to explain what is to prevent another round of threats persuading them to ban those same circles a second time.
The Comiket organisers have announced their response to terrorist threats against the event is to ban all works featuring the subject of the threat – Kuroko’s Basketball – and hold Comiket 83 as normal, if absent the hundreds of circles comprised of Kuroko fans, a decision they blame on the police and venue.

C81 cosplayers really do appear to be immune to the cold – only this or sheer dedication can explain the extraordinary concentration of skimpy bikinis being shown off in the midwinter chill.

The insensitivity of Comiket cosplayers to the cold is being hailed as a thing of wonder yet again – such is their zeal for cosplay that they apparently have no intention of yielding to the mere elements, although as some look quite cosy this may not be so hard…
Comiket 81′s initial day sees yet more outstanding cosplay, a great deal of which is as usual scorchingly hot despite the admittedly only typically mild Tokyo winter, with smooth ero-cosplayer Lenfried joining the fray.

As expected, Comiket 76′s final Day 3 surpassed Day 1′s record-breaking number of attendees, bringing in over 200,000 pilgrims who braved the sweltering summer heat to come to the semiannual otaku Mecca for the event’s most ero-heavy day.
This means the reported figure for total C76 attendance over its three days is a whopping 560,000 (roughly 4.5% of the population of Tokyo, the world’s most populous metropolitan area), beating last year’s summer Comiket 74′s piddling 550,000.
