The top selling eroge listed on Amazon.co.jp of late is none other than comprehensive delicious cake simulator 3D Custom Girl; it even beat out Little Busters! Ecstacy for the top spot, an impressive feat. The prospect of making your own little friend appears to trump even Kudo’s not inconsiderable charms.
Might this sudden, dramatic improvement in sales have something to do with the drastic enhancements made to the girl creation capabilities of the game in the latest patch? It appears less than unthinkable…

The details of SP2 for 3D Custom Girl have been released. The previous patch certainly added some useful functionality, but this goes even further. Rather than being a mere bug fixing patch, functionality sure to revolutionise the creative potential of this title is added. Now you can realise cake of any dimensions, to say nothing of being able to create custom girls as slender or as voluptuous as you care to. Copious screens follow.

More proof, as if any was needed, that 3Dカスタム少女 / 3D Custom Shoujo / 3D Custom Girl could with some work become the Vocaloid of the eroge world. Now we are presented with some interesting (none too H) videos of the Haruhi-dan reproduced with as much fidelity as the game allows. Even has long hair Haruhi for good measure. Hot on the heels of the news it can function as a delicious cake generator after the patch, as well as a Haruhi modeller, now we see even more potent functionality from the title – randomly generating girls results in some rather good results, as meticulously catalogued here. His own creations at the bottom aren’t bad either
It seems 3D Custom Girl’s success is assured with the amount of positive attention it has been getting lately. Keep your eyes open for a sequel or expansion pack.
I couldn’t help but notice, and be impressed, at the news that the latest patch for 3D Custom Girl includes a host of improvements, most notably a reduction in the minimum breast size – much delight is being had at Ore-teki; see before and after Saber there, or below… Next up, a futanari option?

It seems that the rendition of Hatsune Miku I touched upon previously was only the tip of the iceberg; 3Dカスタム少女 / 3D Custom Girl threatens to unleash a torrent of creativity with its custom character design features, and the first sign of this is this enormous compendium of anime and game characters who have been (in some cases extremely well) created in the game and now offer all manner of erotic potential in actual play.
