Sumo Champ Asashoryu Cosplays on the Catwalk

Mongolian yokozuna Asashoryu recently debuted as a fashion model, and a cosplayer to boot, waddling down the catwalk in support of Fanta sales.

In the event, called Shibuya Girls Collection, and held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Asashoryu modeled a typical Prussian cadet uniform, the standard for Japanese boys, much to the delight of the 20,000 crowd, most of them female teenagers.

Surprisingly, current yokozuna Asashoryu appears to be an Xbox 360 fan. Some might suggest it is a console befitting his scale and girth.
