
Moderately anticipated Xbox 360 “exclusive” SF RPG Star Ocean 4 has has some screenshots released which show off the game in some detail, though questions have been immediately asked about the wisdom of their character design and graphical style.
The style adopted seems to be a hodgepodge of Final Fantasy style CG and classical anime style visuals, and the results seem to be mixed.

Hot on the heels of the news that Final Fantasy XIII will not be a PS3 exclusive, doubtless thanks to some great clinking sacks of Microsoft’s Windows revenue, is the newly opened Final Fantasy XIII official site. And on it is a very nice looking trailer, though little else.

In a surprising move, Square Enix chief 和田洋一 / Youichi Wada announced the highly anticipated , and previously PS3 exclusive, Square Enix mega blockbuster RPG is to get an Xbox 360 version as well as the PS3 release, though the Xbox release will be restricted to European and American markets. The announcement came unexpectedly at the end of the “Xbox 360 E308 Media Briefing”.

The Wii is set to get a Soul Eater game title, ソウルイーター モノトーン プリンセス / Soul Eater Monotone Princess, set for release September 25th. The title is set to be a hybrid action/adventure game, centred on an original story, and the gameplay and adventure segments will be supplemented by anime cinematics produced by Bones. Of course, the game will have the same voice cast as the anime.
The spiel being given is that this is more on the side of mixed media than mere spin off, so it may be something to look out for. More details on the official site, though few screens at present. Via AnimeAnime.
