
Issue 39 of Shounen Jump magazine has confirmed that Yabuki Kentarou’s tentacle laced alien harem manga To Love-Ru will end next month ending all speculations.
The last chapter will be featured in the August 31st issue of Jump.

Top alien-girl-falls-in-love-with-boy, alien-girl-gets-raeped-by-tentacles shonen series To Love-Ru will soon be ending its serialization in Shonen Jump, according to credible rumours on 2ch.
The spectre of cancellation had long hung over the series, and recently the story had been pointing towards signs of coming to a conclusion, making the news seem all too likely to be legitimate.

Manga in Japan appears synonymous with One Piece in much the same way that manga overseas is a shorthand for saying “Naruto“, if the latest manga sales figures are anything to go by.
The collected Oricon Top 50 figures for manga sales through the first half of 2009 (shown below) give a complete picture of what manga series are dominating Japan of late, with the usual blockbusters of Bleach, Naruto, and (of course) One Piece dominating much of the list.

Volume 13 of oppai manga To Love-Ru has received a slew of erotic revisions, culminating in the long sought addition of loli nipples to an otherwise humdrum tentacle raep scene, which has predictably projected fans into (possibly literal) spasms of loli-induced ecstasy. To preserve dramatic tension, the scene is reproduced right at the very end of the article.
The volume in question happens to be the one which is accompanied with the OVA in special edition format. More of the erotic OVA here.
