Charming petanko miko anime Kannagi has been the subject of much investigation by fans, and it has transpired that the anime makes extensive use of real world locations, in much the same way as the recent Someday’s Dreamers, though where that title was ridiculed for being a pure Photoshop anime, there are few who would criticise Kannagi’s tasteful adaptation of key locations.

In what may be the only recorded incidence of death by manga, if we are to exclude the murderous rampages politicians and the mass media assure us are the result of such things, a man (37) was tragically buried alive by his impressive collection of many hundreds of volumes, apparently toppled onto him in the recent severe earthquake in Tohoku.

In a change from the depressingly common efforts at suicide which severely inconvenience rail passengers, a lady instead apparently sought to do away with herself in the most honourable and traditional manner of cutting the belly; her choice of venue, a large supermarket in the middle of town, was a little less traditional though.
