A seiyuu and a porn star? 落合祐里香 / Ochiai Yurika (or Yurishii/Yurisyi), noted for voicing Yukiho Hagiwara of Idol Master (above), and Konomi Yuzuhara of eroge ToHeart, has a career which doesn’t stop at the normal boundaries of seiyuu idol, it would seem – all the evidence seems to suggest she had an active career as adult model prior to rising to fame as a seiyuu.
Of course, you can see for yourself the evidence below.

Another topical gallery considering how much she has been in the news recently, here is a gallery of esteemed Haruhi/Konata seiyuu 平野綾 / Aya Hirano, who also as you can see from these images happens to be a developing idol. She certainly is well photographed (and photoshopped, with the above image apparently being an outright paste), and in plenty of everyday or humourous situations too, though this may well be to be expected from her like.

The latest development in esteemed Konata/Haruhi seiyuu 平野綾 / Aya Hirano’s burgeoning career has been a spot of idolling; as reported earlier, she has opted for some publicity with Young Jump by way of some “gravure” photography, so let us examine the photos to ensure maximum standards of taste and decency are being maintained.

Seiyuu and J-pop followers will be delighted to know that famed Haruhi/Lucky Star seiyuu and nascent idol 平野綾 / Aya Hirano has just released her widely anticipated new album “Riot Girl”; it looks to be a most favourably received product, and of course there was a great deal of fanfare over the release. Her career certainly seems to be on the up recently.

We get a distinct hint as to the possible political leanings of seiyuu 加藤英美里 / Emiri Katou, best known for voicing Lucky Star’s (or should that be Red Star’s) Kagami Hiiragi, with her shameless appearance in the pages of admitted communist newspaper 赤旗 / Akahata (Red Flag). Listen to the beautiful and immaculately trained voices of a variety of seiyuu in various characters, each offering “healing” (scolding, rebuking and reprimanding are more appropriate in some cases, however) words to the listener: such is the free service on offer at oenshimasu.com (応援します – ouen shimasu! – I’ll back you up!).

Perhaps inspired by her recent featuring in a “parody” adult flick, played by some scarlet lady vaguely resembling her, 平野綾 / Aya Hirano (Konata, Haruhi, etc.) has opted to engage in a spot of gravure photography herself: we hear that in Weekly Young Jump 33 (released on the 16th July), she will engage in a spot of provocative posing, with pinups promised, although given the lady and publication in question it will most certainly maintain the highest standards of taste.

A ticket for an Idol Master event, “The Idol M@ster 3rd Anniversary Live” has fetched an impressive ¥138,000, from a starting price of ¥6,500. It would appear to be a good front row seat, at least, though even average seats seem to be fetching ¥50,000. The event in question would appear to be essential attendance for Idol Master fans, since it will have the full cast in attendance, the perfect venue for some otagei perhaps?
But for that kind of money you could probably get a private audience with a seiyuu? For five minutes at least… Via Ore-teki, where we see it is not all price inflation for event tickets; Sakura Taisen tickets just fetched ¥1, for two.

Director Kou Matsuo (Rozen Maiden, Kurenai) has taken the unusual step of publically criticising some of his less than worshipful seiyuu, in a Kurenai radio broadcast, singling out 沢城みゆき / Miyuki Sawashiro (Zetsubou Sensei, Persona 3, Utawarerumono, etc.) for particular opprobrium; though he doesn’t mention her by name, some arithmetic with their ages and the works in question soon confirms her as the likely scamp not showing proper deference to her elders, his main complaint.

Famed seiyuu and singer 水樹奈々 / Nana Mizuki, as well as her legion of adoring fans, have been the subject of a devilish murder plot, another copycat of the arch-stabber, we are told.
