Idol and dabbling seiyuu Aya Hirano sustained no less than two serious injuries in recent days, both perhaps related to her long and losing battle with obesity, we hear.
Seiyuu otaku seem to have subjected the object of their fascination, seiyuu 葉月絵理乃 / Erino Hazuki (leading role in Aria, also known for Blue Dragon, amongst others), to such a campaign of harassment that she has seen no option but to suspend her blog, and stop accepting mail from fans.
Former porn star 落合祐里香 / Yurika Ochiai, now a popular seiyuu and voicing Idol Master’s Yukiho, seems to be headed in the direction of her original career if her latest DVD release is anything to go by; it is said to be exceedingly steamy, though still in the realm of normal gravure. Languid bikini poses may be par the course for seiyuu, but these kind of saucy bathing scenes are more unusual.
Mega-seiyuu Aya Hirano crows victory in her latest interview, telling us she shed tears of joy when she learnt of the great success of her debut album, Riot Girl, with it securing sixth place in the Oricon charts; she pledges also not to betray the expectations of fans in her “Riot Tour”.
More of the at times improbably beautiful modern seiyuu; it is little wonder the number turning their hand to a spot of idolling has been increasing, or it is it instead the case that lately idolisable seiyuu are the ones landing the prominent roles?

With the news that mega seiyuu Tubby Hirano (also known as Aya Hirano) is dieting, with the intent of no longer being in danger from Japan’s oceanic research initiatives, I thought it might be helpful to provide some more photographic evidence of her flabby frame, which came to my attention only recently.

Handsome producer つんく♂ / Tsunku looks to have added super-seiyuu Aya Hirano to his harem if their onstage antics are anything to go by; a jolly time looks to have been had in this promotional event for their upcoming collaboration, with Tsunku jolliest of all to have had Aya Hirano hanging off of him, by the looks of things.
The two are engaged in their first “collaboration”, if a singer’s relationship with a producer could be called that, for the ED tune to ヒャッコ / Hyakko, the upcoming anime adaptation of a digitally distributed manga of the same name.
Seiyuu 福圓美里 / Misato Fukuen (Misaton), of Pantsu Witches and To Love-Ru fame, has apparently had to drop her major role as Izumi Mami in upcoming supernatural action anime 喰霊-零- / Ga-rei Zero, over an illness. The September airing of the anime looks to be unaffected, but fans are sure to be concerned over what precipitated this rather drastic and unusual turn of events. No details are forthcoming on the cause.
Aya Hirano, star seiyuu of Haruhi and Lucky Star fame, beloved of a legion of fans, has revealed on her blog that she is in fact hugely fat; she vows a diet in order to trim her figure to less gargantuan proportions.
A seiyuu and a porn star? 落合祐里香 / Ochiai Yurika (or Yurishii/Yurisyi), noted for voicing Yukiho Hagiwara of Idol Master (above), and Konomi Yuzuhara of eroge ToHeart, has a career which doesn’t stop at the normal boundaries of seiyuu idol, it would seem – all the evidence seems to suggest she had an active career as adult model prior to rising to fame as a seiyuu.
