Xbox One “Clearly Inferior” To PS4, Sony Stock Surges

Sony’s PlayStation 4 is already being heralded as the victor of the 8th generation console war, as news of just how poor Microsoft’s Xbox One offering is have begun to sink in, with poor specs, a pathetically weak games line-up, excessive emphasis on TV rather than games, no backwards compatibility and no support for used games all combining to offer a massive boost to Sony’s share price.

By the way, don't forget Kinetic cannot be turned off. It will always watching and listening to you, even when the Xbox One is switch off. Microsoft claim it have privacy protection of some sort, but... More

They have near 100% perfect PS1 software emulation on PS3. There is literally 0 reason why they couldn't do it for PS4.... More

Sony has finally revealed a fleeting and rather indistinct glimpse of their social wonder-console the PlayStation 4, though the suspense over the console’s design which they have so assiduously cultivated looks set to continue until its formal unveiling on the 10th of June – so far all that has been gleaned from their new video is that it “square.”

I don't care that this commercial was ill-timed, vapid, and meaningless. Every design aspect for the console (aside from share) was the right decision. I'll be getting it once it has an impressive enough library.... More

Sony: PS4 “Will Play” Used Games

Sony has officially confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will be able to play second-hand games after all, after a patent on a method of blocking them and the much enhanced online delivery system of the new console led to much speculation that it would finally axe the used game market with a registration system.
