Even the most moe-addled gamers have been forced to admit that newly released trailers of impending blockbuster Grand Theft Auto V show some of the most impressive graphics of any video game to date, even if it does seem they will be restricted to laughably low resolutions on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Final Fantasy XIV’s ending has seen the ominous in-game events capped off with a snazzy cut scene, whilst anticipation for its rebirth as A Realm Reborn is growing with the release of alpha gameplay footage which is markedly more impressive than the original (though this is admittedly not saying much, else it would not need to be remade in the first place).

Tales of Xillia 2, which with 364,000 copies sold in its first week has done fairly well for a mere mothership sequel, also does not disappoint with its many service extras (allowing for the by now expected proviso that they will only be able to get most of it as DLC), helping keep creepy otaku off the streets whilst they document what lies up each character’s skirts…
