Sea Shepherd’s latest brazen act of piracy involved the illegal boarding of a Japanese whaling vessel, with the captain being presented with an order to surrender to Sea Shepherd to face trial for attempted murder and to pay the group millions in restitution for supposedly sinking the Ady Gil.
Sea Shepherd’s terrorist attacks on Japanese ships have for the first time drawn blood after the group fired rockets filled with acid onto the deck of a whaler, injuring three crewmen.

This is surprising considering how het up the police in Akiba are over street performances and the like now – pirate, uncensored and overseas edition DVDs being sold bold as brass from a normal retail location? Not for long, I’d wager. Interesting to see how long they last; usually these kind of shops have to be far more discrete and be ready to disappear rapidly. Akibablog reveals all. But 3000¥ for a pirate DVD? Exorbitant.
