The Idol Master girls replace the cast of Persona 4 in this recreation of the signature tune “Pursuing My True Self”, certainly a MAD of impressive quality.
The music is great as usual with Shin Megami Tensei, and they are rendered rather convincingly into the distinctive style of the Persona series, complete with retro glasses, along with all the interface touches the series uses to great effect.

Persona 4 is out, and there are plenty of videos of the game in action. This is probably the pinnacle of PS2 gaming, and it shows, though it is still regrettable they opted to neglect the PS3 (as you can tell, I don’t seem to be able to get over this); could they not have at least produced an enhanced version?
Incidentally, the US version is due December 9th, but without Rie Kugimiya & co. why would you want such a thing?

Persona fans, amongst whose numbers I can happily count myself, can rejoice at the sight of the latest, and most splendid, figure incarnation of 桐条美鶴 / Mitsuru Kirijo; see more detail below (just pretend the overendowed and overexposed figure in the background isn’t there). This is also a good opportunity to look at some of the others on offer.

Famed seiyuu 釘宮理恵/Rie Kugimiya is set to voice one of the characters in Persona 4, perhaps a welcome break for her from voicing slot machines. She will voice Rise Kujikawa, an idol who returns from the big city to her hometown, the backwater country town setting of Persona 4.

An address was given by Megami Tensei/Persona series creator 岡田耕始/Koji “Cozy” Okada at the University of Tokyo recently, as part of the May Festival, in which he was kind enough to expound in some detail about his thoughts about the excellent Megami Tensei series as creator.
Famitsu has published a very interesting and quite detailed article covering this, and I have prepared a full translation below; this should be of particular interest to Megami Tensei and Persona fans, as well as those interested in the creative processes leading to a prolific franchise which is not only extremely successful, but also highly adventurous and original.
