If only? This yuri witch eroge taunts us with its improbability.
Expecting a few mediocre adventure games might be reasonable enough for Strike Witches (or better yet a dog fighting boob grabbing game or two), but an actual eroge seems not to be likely at all. More’s the pity.

The ever industrious TMA is on the verge of releasing two “parody” AVs, one of idol Aya Hirano, which we discussed before, and the other of Neon Genesis Evangelion, “Ever”, with relatively high production values; what’s more, they have released streaming previews, so by all means take a look if you are keen.

More of the cosplay AV “parodies” emerge, this time targeting Code Geass and Clannad. Code Eros, due October 10th, promises lascivious rebellion and “real hard eros action”, and may be of interest to cosplay AV followers.

You may have heard of Haruhi spinoff/parody manga 涼宮ハルヒちゃんの憂鬱 / The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi-chan (see below), by ぷよ / Puyo, a superb and most amusing manga using the SOS-dan, but eschewing the ridiculous story and serious elements of the original in favour of parody and absurdity (famously Nagato is a determined erogamer, for example).
It has gained great popularity, and even the authors of the original have stated that they should probably made the main story like it; the popularity has allowed an anime adaptation, just announced.

Another in the apparently strong genre of strictly unauthorised cosplay AVs emerges. This production (below, above we see an earlier work) is set to star AV performer 香坂百合 / Yuri Kousaka; she has appeared in a variety of similar efforts to tap the doujinshi ignorant market which seemingly exists – her latest production is said to feature a series of displays of manual dexterity of great interest to fans of the art.
Due in early September, by way of the unfortunately named Soft On Demand, entitled 涼宮ヒハルの超激手コキ / Suzumiya Hiharu no Chou-Gekisou Tekoki.

The tegaki version of the phenomenal Nipponpon series of MADs; even though it may be wholly fan animated, it still uses all the samples from the original, so I am sceptical as to whether Nico’s masters will allow them to keep it up. At any rate, let us enjoy it locally to be sure.

Nipponpon revisited; the Code Geass MAD which dominated the Nico charts for days even after it was deleted gets a rather entertaining successor. This one, to my mind at least, is a lot more witty and technically accomplished. Great quality too.

In something of a change from the usual stream of Haruhi MADs, here we have a rather amusing Code Geass MAD, surely leaving no one in any doubt as to the importance of Nipponese liberation.

Tactical espionage moe? These Figumate figures provide an interesting reimagining of Snake, Otacon, Raiden and Ocelot. Rather more desirable than the crusty old commando himself, though this would hardly be difficult. Due for release December 11th, as a set of four, in the region of ¥3,000.

Natural and delicious. 100% natural milk. I don’t think much difficulty would be had finding drinkers for this; on the contrary, finding a supply of milk may be the problem. From the cover of a Hakurei Reimu Touhou doujinshi, by Amaranth. Would make a rather tempting carton design…

The gorgeous new Melissa Seraphy nendoroid figure was touched upon earlier, but what has to be the definitive and by far most amusing review/figure manga is brought to us by Choudai, creator of the noted (or perhaps notorious) Fate condensed/milk saga. Be sure to check it out if you’re looking for some figure news with a different slant…
