“I was confident after playing driving games at the arcade, so I wanted to try the real thing” – such is the legend offered by a schoolgirl (14), who, without any form of licence or training save what she had learnt at her local arcade, opted to try her hand at the real thing.

The library for its part reports nearly six thousand BL books, having spent nearly $40,000 amassing them.

“Mini-pigs have such healthy appetites that I thought I might not be able to keep feeding it”. Such is the testimony of a 29-year-old man, who now faces court for cruelly abandoning his mini-pig to the wilds of Osaka. He apparently took the unsold pig of the hands of a local pet shop, but on his way home he had to take a break due to the weight of the pig, and setting down in a park he lost his confidence to keep the creature seeing it devour the park.
At least he opted not to eat the pint-sized porker – although at 40kg the pig might have made a lot of tonkatsu, and was eating its way to becoming an ample maxi-pig… Via Yomiuri.
