Disgaea D2 has unveiled both gender-swapped Fem-Laharl and his newly proclaimed imouto, along with plenty of new shots of the game and cast – Laharlette in particular already gaining some admirers, hopefully having got over his gynophobia by now.

Nippon Ichi has announced the next major Disgaea title for the PS3, to be entitled Disgaea D2 (“Dimension 2″ – although it is “Disgaea 5″ rather than yet another spin-off) and to feature the return of Laharl and company in a fully fledged continuation of the events of the original.

Compile Heart’s saucy console war anthropomorphisation RPG Neptunia, comically reviled in the western gaming press for not being filled with butch old hags ala Dragon Age and Mass Effect, is to receive a sequel in the form of Neptunia mk2, and early glimpses reveal the game is not only even sexier than before, it actually looks to have some rather nice graphics this time.

The hatred of western reviewers for games with low advertising budgets and niche audiences continues to manifest itself in further slating of ero-RPG Hyper Dimension Neptunia, with yet another big-name reviewer, in this case Eurogamer, now apparently scoring the game on the basis of feminism and political correctness – it is said to be “plain old ugly Japanese sexism” and “sexist, senseless and ultimately stupid.”
