Good Smile Company have produced a new Meiko in Nendoroid form, demonstrating that even virtual idols fall prey to the evils of drink. She is however still able to sing energetically once sobered up and will be released in December 2011.
Christmas is coming – which must mean Santa-themed Korean Vocaloid cosplay, with Miku, Luka, Meiko and Rin all joining in the festivities.
The first Vocaloid, Meiko, may be the forerunner of the subsequent Vocaloids but rarely is she the subject of cosplay – here she is given a rather sexy depiction by cosplayer Kotori:
Vocaloid dominatrix Megurine Luka and first generation Vocaloid Meiko feature in this illustration, showing an impressive amount of oppai from a variety of angles thanks to their skimpy suspenders.
Rivals Miku and Megurine are joined by Haku, Neru and Meiko in this appealing MikuMiku Dance rendition of “Night of Fire”:
The latest Vocaloid MAD currently enjoying considerable success on Nico is the new Smooooch･∀･ × VOCALOID, a video featuring all the key virtual idols.
Despite the simple but cute animation style, the video currently holds a spot in the daily top ten with over 186,000 views. A Touhou version has already made its appearance…
Miku, Rin and Ren make their usual appearances, along with some new and old faces, in energetically animated chibi dancing form:
You may recall the earlier post on the making of this image of vocaloid Meiko, by master oppai illustrator Ino, but sadly at that time no high quality version of the image itself was to be found.

This outstandingly animated Vocaloid all star production, entitled Honey – Nanameue All Stars, has been released to celebrate the birthday of the much overlooked Meiko, and features some rather beautiful 3D CG visuals, along with some fantastically choreographed (if this is the right word for rendered characters) dancing.

Supreme CG artist Ino, whose works we are hopefully all familiar with by now, has once again provided a fascinating video of himself creating an illustration from scratch, in this case of Vocaloid Meiko, one of the prototype virtual idols eventually culminating in Hatsune Miku.
That is to say, a well endowed lady in some revealing clothing.
