Singer Gackt has leant his voice to a new vocaloid, dubbed Gackpoid, and Berserk creator Kentaro Miura has apparently deigned to provide him with the design for the avatar, for free, visible above – quite a departure from his usual style, I’m sure you’ll agree.
You can hear samples of the synthetic crooning on the official site. The software is due on the 25th of July, at a cost of some ¥18,900. It does not look as if this avatar will readily lend itself to an appealing incarnation as a nendoroid… Via ITmedia.

Behold a most impressive 1:1 limited edition replica of Gattsu’s enormous zweihander: Dragon Slayer. The model great sword is 215cm long, and 40cm wide at the widest point, weighing in at 4kg, due to a lightweight fibreglass reinforced plastic construction, though as you can see the finish is a rather realistic emulation of dark, tempered steel. It cost ¥58,000, though the owner is too modest to say so.
