As he hinted previously, crossdressing cosplay kickboxer Yuichiro Nagashima has fulfilled his love of A Certain Magical Index, specifically Index, and appeared dressed as a Church of England nun.

The huge gulf between the character design used in the initial A Certain Magical Index light novels and that used in more recent volumes, as well as more widely in the anime and similar, has recently been pointed out by fans. Especially the differences in Index’s design…

In case you were wondering who was buying all those Xboxes in Japan, at least some have been going to otaku masters such as the one whose sanctum you see pictured here. He looks to have amassed ten of them, along with every game imaginable… Now we just need to know if they are all working.
The first dakimakura cover featuring a certain charming magical index, Index, has emerged, but as you can see, a spot of cruel mystery marketing (and a painfully low resolution image) leaves us speculating at what lies under the “Secret-Mysterious” portion of the cover.
A Certain Magical Index has treated its viewers with another rare (for this show) display of service in its tenth episode, this time in the form of middle-school student panchira.
Mikoto Misaka, competing heroine to Index of A Certain Magical Index, here appears enigmatically wearing a Santa-san outfit and no pantsu, or perhaps no shortsu? Would she be so eager to hide herself if she still had pantsu? We can but speculate…

Fans of A Certain Magical Index (I think we might safely conclude that fans of the show and fans of Index herself are one and the same) are currently rejoicing feverishly over the distinctly revealing Index bathing scene featured in the eighth episode. Some are even saying a DVD ero-upgrade is possible…

2ch is afire with praise for the manly Index obsessive who took it upon himself to buy no less than ten copies of Shonen Gangan in order to obtain ten Index mouse mats, currently being bundled with the December issue. As you can see, the pads are of the flat variety, though it’s not clear whether they are appropriately so.
This rather appealing figure version of Index, the heroine of A Certain Magical Index, is on the verge of release and looks to be the benchmark for future Index moe figures (at least until the inevitable cosplay variants), so a closer look is worthwhile.

Here we have a complete set of yet to be revealed (in the anime at least) characters from A Certain Magical Index, which as you know has an extensive series of light novels already published.
Some rather nice character designs look to be in evidence; considering the success of the series, might we be seeing these in future seasons?
