Meganekko 2D vs 3D

Meganekko 2D vs 3D

Another front opens in the battle between 2D and 3D. Above, we have a highly respectable selection of Japanese celebrities, all sporting spectacles (admittedly about the only one I can recognise is the loli-princess, and half of them are shopped, but that hardly matters). Below, we find each one rendered into 2D. I leave the conclusions to be drawn up to you.

Landscape Apocalypse Gallery

fk3_003.jpg

There isn’t much need for any other landscape gallery, at least for a while, after you’ve seen the huge array of images assembled here. Both photographic and illustrative depictions of landscapes, ranging from the merely naturally spectacular to the fantastic or wondrous, ensure every taste is likely to be catered for. Once again, the Vippers do not disappoint.

See also the earlier gallery, with a tighter focus, for more.

Tragedy Witches

Tragedy Witches

Former loli pantsu anime Strike Witches continues its misguided descent into farcical martial camaraderie action anime with the latest and ninth episode. Pantsu fans are sure to be on the verge of desertion if this continues, which seems quite possible.

Strike Witches in abstract form. I dare say only the elite not-pantsu followers amongst you can identify them all from these polygonal pantsu-like things without external reference.

3D to 2D Idols

えあう / Eau - 3D to 2D idols

Here I shall introduce the art of えあう / Eau, an artist who has produced a number of these interesting illustrations, which as you can see use photos as a base. Whilst doing this and not disclosing it seems to be a recipe at times for derision or even scandal, doing it quite deliberately seems to be well received, and looking at these images, who could disagree.

Below you can see more of his art, and some of the source photos.

A gallery documenting in fine detail a variety of unfortunate clothing related “accidents” resulting in oppai exposure, as well as intentional acts of erotic or fashionable exposure, particularly where nipples are involved. The Vippers assure us that this is the height of erotic artistry…

To Love-Ru Ero-Betrayal

To Love-Ru DVD Comparison

Fans have been quick to voice their considerable discontent at the latest developments in the anime adaptation of To Love-Ru; animation quality is said to have taken a nosedive in the latest episode (21), but more shockingly, volume two of the DVD edition has reneged on the usual arrangement with fans of putting up with wretched television censorship in exchange for an ecchified DVD release: fans are outraged that nipples are barely visible, and that saucy underwear remains replaced by normal clothing, with only the sop of mysterious tentacle molestation liquid to mollify them…

MikuMiku Mega Gallery

Hatsune Miku / 初音ミク

Here we have a gallery of Hatsune Miku images of extreme quality; with images gathered by both the Vippers and myself, the candidate images came to some three hundred. Since this is unwieldy, I went through and further selected what in my opinion form the top hundred, which are posted below.

The rest, which are by no means bad, I have posted together with these images to Sankaku Channel: this link will display the appropriate tag. You may browse the quality digest below, or take advantage of the much richer experience offered on the Channel, and evaluate them yourself.

PaperChild

佐佐木雪之丞 / Yukinojou Sasaki, PaperChild master

PaperChild is an interesting mini-genre of art recently becoming noticeable on the likes of Pixiv, with a number of artists contributing works so themed. The dominant theme is the witty juxtaposition of 2D and 3D, with a 2D illustration being cut out and placed into a photographed scene, usually with some charm or humour.

Here, I am set on introducing one of those artists, who in fact only deals with PaperChild (I’m sure he has plenty of other works to his credit, though) and whose works are original, skilful, very witty and pleasingly erotic (some rather explicit in fact).
