The design looks convincing enough, and artefacts, if any, are well concealed, but still it seems a most unusual choice of subject and format…

The release of the second Neon Genesis Evangelion movie has been announced as being due in early summer 2009, with it entitled ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版:破 (Evangelion Shingekijoban: Ha), and carrying the official English title of Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance.
Additionally, their promotional poster has been updated with what appears to be the new female character.

Fans of Okama / Yukata / Evangelion (two out of three here) might be interested to see these fine images of of lolified Asuka and Rei in breezy mini-yukata attending a matsuri, as designed by Okama and realised by Zenko (and made by Sega Prize).
