The erotic credentials of new mixed media franchise 絶対衝激～プラトニックハート～ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart are shaping up, with this dakimakura cover giving you an idea as to where the series is heading; the “Platonic” part of the title is increasingly looking a misnomer…
The release of the latest portable To Love-Ru title,Waku Waku! Rinkangakkou-Hen, is due in but a few days, and it would appear the DS is set to receive a title straining the limits of what Nintendo will allow… Of the various mini-games, one is entirely devoted to the prospect of spraying a girl with sweet milk, and the developers seem to have made every effort to confuse the milk in question with a certain other milk.
As we have seen, 3D Custom Girl has become a runaway success, due in no small part to a series of patches catering to a variety of tastes; just about any character can be created, and any taste satisfied, in reasonable fidelity.

Vippers bring us what is probably the definitive gallery of 3D eroge, with a variety of titles featured, but, as you might have guessed, there is an overwhelming focus on the possibilities offered by Tech Arts 3D’s magnum opus, even including some examples of the mods becoming available…
Eroge anime adaptation 恋姫†無双 / Koihime Musou has broadened its appeal further with the introduction of loli dojiko character Koumei, or “Hawawa Gunsou” as she is also known, from her pitiful quailing (“hawawa!”) at the appearance of any enemy; it is an addition which looks to have been very well received, judging by the amount of attention given to the matter by a great many sites. Let us, too, follow suit and see what all the fuss is about…
Well received PC eroge 11eyes -罪と罰と贖いの少女- / 11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo- has had an Xbox 360 port announced for a 2009 release, according to the official announcement by developers Lass and company. Little detail is supplied on the extent of the changes planned, but it does not seem likely a title released only this year will need much artistic reworking.
Perhaps more interesting than the case of the Platonic Itabus are these stunning promotional CGs, which I will share along with an introduction to the franchise itself: 絶対衝激～プラトニックハート～ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart is an effort to create a fully fledged mixed media franchise, spanning a variety of formats, with DVD and adventure game releases, as well as a keitai game, probably being the main elements of the project.
Story is strictly bishoujo game fair, with eleven girls fulfilling every possible taste, as you will see.
Cars decorated with anime artwork, itasha, may be old hat, but an air of novelty still surrounds the rare ita-bus, perhaps due to the sheer amount of photoshopped buses floating around (see below for some interesting examples, especially the Shinku Liner), outnumbering the confirmed instances by far.
However, here we have a very definitely confirmed example, and it happens to be advertising a bishoujo game and mixed media franchise, 絶対衝激～プラトニックハート～ / Zettai Shougeki – Platonic Heart. Whether we can call it an actual eroge remains to be seen, although it is certainly not lacking in pretty ladies in CG form.
If you thought the comprehensive breast simulation and cosplay capabilities of Soul Calibur IV were the end of the matter, think again. In fact, the game possesses a pantsu simulation engine of truly formidable power, which, when coupled with the gymnastic contortions and general shamelessness of the lady characters leads to some stimulating spectacles, documented below for your information.
This was actually tucked away under the news that Soul Calibur IV has received a dose of maid fetishism with the addition of a complete maid outfit as DLC, so you can see that as well.
Tentacle molestation doujin title ハーフエルフ触手陵辱DS / Half-Elf Tentacle Assault DS, for the Nintendo DS and due for distribution at the upcoming Comiket, has effectively been cancelled by way of the developers (or rather, developer), Team DSX, having their participation at Comiket rescinded by the organisers, and Nintendo seems directly or indirectly responsible, which, it has to be said, is hardly surprising.
A novel, and rather entertaining and well executed doujin eroge which may be of interest has just had its demo version released; 田舎でシよう！２ 博多編 / Inaka de Shiyou! 2 Hakata-ben Version (Let’s do it in the country!) is based on the novel (if we ignore the fact that it is a sequel) premise of “hougen moe”, that is to say “dialect moe”.
In this case the dialect spoken by the young ladies (actually the protagonist’s little sisters…) is Hakata-ben, a folksy (to Tokyo Japanese at least) variant spoken in part of Fukuoka (Kyushu). The game is fully voiced, and the subtitles are in standard Japanese, so it is rather interesting to listen to, and easily understood from the subtitles (even native Japanese have much difficulty with these kind of dialects).
The art does not disappoint either, as you can see below.
