The full size Gundam currently ensconced at Odaiba in Tokyo has just opened to the public, and as a result a flood of additional photographs and videos has appeared, with a variety of interesting closeups and low-angle shots adding to the wealth of imagery already available.

As per its design specification, the titanic 1:1 Gundam recently erected in Odaiba has had its lights activated, making for an astonishing night-time spectacle, images of which can be seen below.
Several videos of the now fully completed life-sized Gundam have also gone online in recent days as the number of visitors to the site grows in anticipation of the planned July 11 unveiling, and these too make interesting viewing.

The June issue of popular moe magazine Dengeki Daioh marks the 15th anniversary of its publication.
By way of celebration, Dengeki will include a special “Heroine” gallery featuring a huge array of famous female characters that have previously graced the magazine’s pages, illustrated by a variety of top names.

Bandai has declared its intent to create a freestanding, full scale Gundam for the Gundam 30th anniversary celebrations. The giant robot will stand 18m tall, and is set to be publically exhibited in July.
The Gundam in question is the RX-78-2 Gundam, the iconic mecha from the first series.
