The light novel – a genre which at its loosest could be defined as any novel with an anime-style cover, periodic illustrations and, of course, a sparsity of text inversely proportional to the length of its title – having apparently long since outstripped manga and visual novels as the premier source material for late night anime adaptations, it is only fitting that the best such adaptations be ranked by the viewers who lap them up.

Amnesia Unforgettably Pretty

Oreshura = “Total Template Anime”

The latest excess of the light novel title generator to receive its obligatory anime adaptation is Ore no Kanojo to Osanajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (loosely, “My girlfriend & childhood friend are constantly at each others throats,” and thankfully abbreviated to Oreshura) – and though its contents look to be as formulaic as its title, it has nonetheless been well received and even boasts some high level nopan service in its first outing.
