Capcom have finally announced the release date of the long awaited Street Fighter IV, making a surprise announcement at the end of their recent exhibition; SF IV is set to have a multiplatform console release in Febuary 2009, they say.

The excitement surrounding the announcement of a Macross F film may have been misplaced, as an interview with esteemed director and Macross creator 河森正治 / Shouji Kawamori, included in Macross F 2059:Memories, has him making statements which basically scotch the notion of there being much original content or story development from the anime.

Kyoto Animation have earned the praise even of critical 2channers, for we hear that their rendition of a key scene (or at least one fans are particular about), above, is completely faithful to, and even improves upon, the CG original from the visual novel, which you can see underneath it.
