If you go by the question you asked that gives no set time on which his nose is going to grow then the statement would be true and not a lie as he is giving no time constraints on when it will happen. Now say he added “in three seconds”. Then it would be a lie as when three seconds are up and his nose did not grow it would then grow after. Now you could argue that adding a time could still make his statement true and false thus making it a paradox in which I reply, no as the only way it could be true is if he said a statement, told a lie that ended exactly when the three second mark hit making his nose grow thus making the original statement true but the lie he told the false thus not allowing the original statement to be both true and false at the same time.

Yesterdays routine, 15 squats (real squats go bellow your knees), 10 pushups, 5 repeat for twenty minutes nonstop.

First set of pull ups is for warming up, first five sets of barbels is enough to feel it but not to slow you down gradually increasing until you hit the fifth set where you are at your max weight that you can do repeatedly even if you are struggling. Then last set of pull ups you add weight to yourself.

Besides that there are two scenarios. Art is not only an imitation of reality. It could be also a harmony of forms, expression of emotion, or if a certain party like a museum deemed something as art even though it's just a painting of a Cambell's Soup can.

I really wish I was high when I read this. I think it would have blown my mind. Regardless, to me art is meant to convey meaning and feeling to the viewer and is created not for profit or fame but so the person could clearly view those feelings the artist had while he/she created the piece. Now considering that anime is story based, you’ll rarely see an image that has implied meaning without the story saying it is, in which case does it really have meaning, are are we just told that it has meaning? Now, in reality, anime is an art form such as a play is a form of art, but not in the context of which most people I have seen who watch anime and call it art purely based off of the drawings themselves, as the people who drew them are drawing them purely based off of money and not to convey their message. That also being said, if a writer sees that one form of show as popular and purely writes it so that he copies the ideas for profit, then it isn’t art which basically turns down a good majority of anime as being art.

I read a little bit of it and I can say I agree and dissagree with you. Anime is not a cartoon, it’s anime. If it were made in an English speaking country, then yes it will be a cartoon. As for it being a higher form of art, some animus are very well drawn, far more speaking to the eye than a lot of cartoons I have seen in America, but as a higher art form? For that to be possible you’d need to do something about the 80% of ankle that is poorly drawn and pay your artists more for uniqueness among characters.

I think the most annoying thing is how on most recent series the phrase “what do you think this is an anime/manga?!” appears. I mean I can see the value of it being used occasionally but when everyone does it it’s rediculous.

This is actually pretty cool to me. I use an iPhone just because it has all the uses I would need and jail broke it a couple years ago for shits and giggles. But nice to see I can go back to that and see what’s new. Specially loved tethering my phone to my laptop while I was out of the house.
