All black is awesome, but why the brown shoes??? They don’t match. >_<

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post Comiket Bans Sexy Cosplay   9 months, 3 weeks ago · View

Reading it, their could be a little “lost in translation” here. It could be more of they don’t want translucent clothing/underwear that’s practically see-thru, or at least that’s how I kind of read it on the first part. As for the second part of must wearing underwear, I don’t really get that since some outfits [...]

Censors probably missed the nipple shot because it went too fast. Heck, I didn’t even notice it till it was shown here.

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post “Why Do Japanese Use Umbrellas All The Time?”   11 months, 2 weeks ago · View

I live in the South and it mostly because we have cars and try to drive close to any door if possible. Only people that work in the downtown area or on University campuses typically use a umbrella because they are walking, not driving.

Nice… the shirt is roughly a dollar with a print job of at least worth another dollar… I SMELL MONEY!

I can’t think of any better inspiration than Homura.

  • Ever heard of Racoon City?

  • There are abandon villages and towns in North America too. It depends though where you are, typically in the east it will be razed; out west, abandon to the elements. This is why Ghost Towns exist in desert areas while monuments are built at locations of old communities.

Well, it’s odd that Toyota uses that artwork when they also made commercials of the original diva driving the car to concert. Toyota is also sponsoring a Miku Concert at Anime Expo this year.

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post USA: “Bin Laden = Admiral Yamamoto”   1 year ago · View

Admiral Yamamoto’s assassination was justified. Not just because he was a brilliant Commander-in-Chief, but also because he was secretly creating the first boy band to the world. Sadly, it only delayed the inevitable; as scrupulous entrepreneurs were able to find Yamamoto’s secret files on “Boy Bands” and used it to infect America with the likes [...]

Thank goodness I live in the United States… the entire state of California could fall in the ocean and we would still have plenty of channels showing cartoons, sports, and how to remodel homes on a budget. God Bless America’s Indifference!

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post Shogakukan Bans Fan Art   1 year, 2 months ago · View

Cosplay is safe, at least in North America. It is too common for people to dress-up in there favorite characters, people even impersonate officials including Police, Fire, Politicians and so on. As long as your are not “actually” trying to be someone your not. As for the pictures themselves, they are solely the ownership of [...]

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post Madoka Cancelled   1 year, 2 months ago · View

I agree with this; I remember while back when Adult Swim showed Cowboy Bebop on its first run, it skipped three episodes because of recent events (9/11 and Columbia explosion); eventually they were aired on television a year later. Though I have a feeling they will not show the episodes on TV now, I’m sure [...]

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post Tokyo Governor Candidate: “I Will Ban Violent Games”   1 year, 2 months ago · View

If a ban was to happen in Tokyo, it would create a bigger black market for those kind of games in Japan; basically most of which coming from the U.S.

Also, if they ban violent games, does that mean they will spend more time making ero games now (well, before they are banned as well)?

  • washuotaku commented on the blog post Atlus: “We’ll Make Catherine Easier For You!”   1 year, 3 months ago · View

This is actually not too uncommon. Several MMORPGs continually adjust the game so a majority can continue the storylines; with the advent of online updates via PS3 or Xbox, I have had several games add more stuff or adjust things so game play becomes easier. Recently Gran Turismo 5 did an update so EXP would [...]

I might agree if there wasn’t also high unemployment in Japan as well. Don’t care if women decide they want to raise a family instead, that’s a full-time job too.
