finished school recently, so I decided to pick up 創刻のアテリアル and have a go at it even though I can’t really read a lot of the card effects.

Its not bad, but I think card games might not really be my kind of thing and farming for cards is somewhat annoying

Yeah I remember that ToE fight against Cress, makes the ToP fight against Lilth in Colosseum look like a real joke.

I kinda stopped playing Tales series after Abyss, maybe I should pick up a couple of them when I have time again.

You’re required a shitload of documents, different documents that only list the exams you’ve done – only there are 3 different kind of papers and all of them must be filled with the same informations. Luckily, the links are either broken or take you to the wrong files, there’s a total discord between every year, and nobody really understands what to do at all. It’s mental, nothing short of it. I swear if I had any marbles to begin with, which seems quite hypocritical to even hope for, I lost them all in these days trying to cope with bureaucracy and what not. Sigh… and there’s that damn thesis to do, too!

Yeah I hear ya, the admin ppl at my school took 4 months for fix my course credit problems, so I have to wait til May for the graduation ceremony instead of being able to apply for last year Nov. I went to them several times to get it fixed but yeah, took a goddamn long time and I’m sure there’s other people had that worse cases than me.

well good luck with that I guess, it really is a royal pain in the ass…

I kinda snapped at the guy issuing the bus pass office at my university today, kinda felt a bit bad for my terrible attitude, but I was pretty mad after waiting for 30 mins all for nothing, since I can’t get a student bus pass anymore…

ah well, a bit of gaming and anime should fix up my bad day

its pretty random actually…who attacks first = coin flip, which mob attacks which mob = random, only certain spells have like fixed “will affect slot 2″… only rule i guess is like spells cards must be played first before your mobs can start attacking and how much card you can put out the field at a time.

honestly, the game was kinda meh when i played the close beta. It was okay, but the game was so cash-shop heavy that I don’t think I’d want to go back to it for official launch. It was only the art that really kept me playing and trying it out for a bit.

Can I also get one? =P

Started playing Dungeon Defenders recently (friend got 4 pack and a couple of us split).

Pretty fun so far, but I really wish there was a better way to sort thru all the loot or to shop…

Started playing Sword Girls yesterday (instead of studying for my final haha)…its an online battle card game thats in beta right now.

I normally don’t play these kind of games, but I thought I’d give it a try. I guess probably some of the card artwork got me interested.

I don’t normally wear anime related clothing but I do carry around Saber, Tohsaka mini keychain figures w/ my keys. I also have a Tohsaka wallet, but its so faded that you can’t tell it had a picture on it at one point.

I’m fairly lucky that most of my closest friends are into gaming/anime, so I don’t really have to hide it. Most of the classmates that I talked to in my university either watches a bit of anime or they seem interested in Japanese stuff.

I guess its just something that I don’t feel the need to hide, but I think normally you don’t go around waving a big SOS-dan flag or something to announce to everyone that you are an otaku.

is it just me or does the girl from Ano Natsu de Matteru looks a bit like Shaga from ben-to?

I’m probably watching: Mauretsu Pirates, Inu x Boku SS, BRS, Nisemonogatari and maybe give Brave 10 a try

and like Shana, I kinda feel obliged to finish Zero no Tsukaima… otherwise its like open-ended again w/o closures to anything

Makes me wonder whats going on in Canada, I never really hear much about this stuff on the news over here or maybe I’m just too lazy to look in the right places.

I think another problem is that, its like talking about the Holocaust, its much easier to find bad things to talk about than the good deeds that people did. Also, with a population that big, its hard to avoid the bad especially with the current conditions.

From time to time, the China news does sting quite a bit, I myself find it offensive sometimes. I just see it as every countries has their own share of bad apples to deal with, though some chose to sweep it all under a rug.

is it a big issue if you start playing Skyrim and never played / don’t know what the other Elder Scrolls are all about?

Started playing Civ 5 yesterday, it really eats up time easily.

Some stuff worked out a bit different from what I had expected. I’ve played Civ 2 and Alpha Centuri before, so stuff like not being able to stack units on the same tile kinda annoyed me.

Tempted to dig up Der Langrisser again, anyone have any suggestions for a similar game?

There’s still the International Saimoe, its on going right now (actually for a while). I think the voting works slightly differently and some consider the brackets kinda rigged and whatnot, but at least its easier to vote in this one than the JP one.
