I’ve seen far too many people with a degree of some sort and a terrible grammar. A degree by itself doesn’t prove anything, and you always have to take into consideration how much time it took you to finish, whether or not you worked part or full time during the same years, not to mention if you studied abroad or went somewhere else to do what you were due to do without the support of your family. That aside the curriculum is usually the second thing they consider, for the cover letter needs to captivate the attention first. Unless you are looking for a job in Germany…

Yes, perhaps a degree shows that you put up with a lot of crazy and is somehow expected for some roles, but experience in the field may yield better results.

I wanted a healthy dinner for a change – because I’ve been gaining weight – so I bought some salad. Then I filled with tomatoes, onions, carrots, olives, chips of parmesan, cut some slices of bresaola, warmed up the bread and melted auricchio provolone on the pan.

I’m definitely not going to lose weight anytime soon.
