Suikoden II mainly and also Sengoku Rance. I thought SR was mainly a VN but it's more of a strategy game in the end. Macho MC makes it fun, and it's quite easy to get the hang of it. I won't be tackling the harder difficulties right away on my 2nd playthrough though.

Knowing what happens doesn’t even ruin this show. Indeed, you don’t ask yourself “what will happen with him/her?” but the enjoyment factor is still absolutely present. Hadn’t watched it in 2 or 3 years now though so I had forgotten some small parts and it was nice to be reminded of them.

I never affirmed autism is caused by a single gene, it only seemed to be that genes responsible for autism give less chances of survival, and clearly because I admitted genetics is very complex, I changed my opinion and now I think autism genes might be already common in our gene pool. There are many cases in which people with signs of autism were extremely intelligent, the media often adores to put up a dramatised story of the poor lad who climb up the stairs of success above misfortune to reach the pinnacle of sciences, or whatever.
However intelligence isn't necessarily a factor that increases the chances of survival, otherwise the world wouldn't appear to be heading for the Idiocracy dystopia.

On a side note: You don't see autism in private high schools in Luxembourg (there were also only 4 arabians and 10ish blacks in the one I went to, but that's another topic). Now that I live in France I actually see them and quite frequently, 2 even work in the supermarket I usually go to, and that's all I wanted to add no matter if it mattered to their discussion or not <: I just know parents that have kids diagnosed with that always worry about if they'll be able to insert themselves in the adult working world once they're grown up. Those two do their job fine, slightly slower but they also have a small badge so the customer is aware and won't snap at them. The concerned people either got used to it or actually don't mind being different as they weren't nervous/insecure at all when I'd be in queue or while paying.

I highly doubt that 1 out of 100 babies are born with quasi-extreme mutations such as an extra finger from what I had read, we just read different stuff I guess lol. Mutations are common but not such physical mutations lol. Something like that would be something you'd notice more frequently than today by being outside a lot, and in 20 years I've personally never seen someone with 6 fingers yet irl even though I've moved a lot and didn't live in rich neighborhoods where such people are far less often present.

I believe it's more often just slight disturbances based on the human average. One leg barely shorter than the other, the spine not 100% straight, etcetc that can end not affecting you in any way due to how minimal it is <:
It can also simply be in the mental factor which explains diverse personalities. It's Self > Family/Friends > Society in order of importance of what influences you from freud/jung theories, thus diverse personalities also takes into account the different genes people have.

In Science mutation is simply seen differently, not actually circus freak stuff. All that I've cited are genetic mutations and would be at least 1/100 present in more than such minimal cases, but again not like an extra finger. The latter really was impressive by showcasing such extreme cases, although it's sad that it was purely for the amusement of the majority which decided normality. I still found them (like the old 50s or something? movie Freak Show) more interesting than the usual crap you read about in SF or normal fiction 1: But that has nothing to do with this so w/e!
Just my five cents on the subject since I've studied science up 'till some months ago and think I still remember this subject correctly.

No point in talking about your real day/life if you don't want to. One is bound to have other communities/contacts where he/she does that, you don't have to do it everywhere. You can also keep that sort of thing to real life only and let a fake persona be your only identity on a forum.

Like you brought up anger control/management: there is indeed no reason to get pissy about this but I understand your frustration if it's something he/she does 100% of the time. I personally don't care, that works well. It can even liven things up more as most people do speak of real life experiences here. Is it really that annoying if there are some exceptions?
And on a site note: of course military reforms people so I don't get the "believe it or not" part, that's common knowledge I believed nowadays: Full Metal Jacket showed this a long time ago because people weren't aware of it back then but today is different. Most people who join the military are not fit to be on battlefields nor on training grounds, that's why they are reformed, it's like elementary procedure. I personally haven't joined my nationality country's army (not like Belgium has a good one anyways, and I don't even live there so w/e) but have friends who've joined the French, German and Russian ones so this isn't simply assumptions I'm making.

On topic of 'age of sc forum'; I've only bothered coming here a week or two ago now. Have only been using the site these last years for my quasi-daily random news dose. TBH I hadn't even noticed there was a forum 1: Nice to learn a bit of the magnificent history it had ("lolispam age" is such a wonderful title imo).
