Please let it be a re-do. The first adaptation was flat out awful. I couldn’t get past the third episode and I usually like this kind of show. The writing was terrible and made me cringe.

Also, a company/corporation does not put an accountant in charge. Accountants manage money, they don’t make it. Putting one in as CEO is probably a signal that Square/Enix is effectively dead and they’re preparing to start breaking the corporation up as cost-effectively as they can.
