I managed to get my hands on something that I long thought would be impossible for someone living in the US like myself to get without having personal connections in Japan. However thanks to a thing that CDJapan has got going where they buy stuff that you ask for I was victorious! The wait time was around a month, CDJapan tacks on an annoying acquisition charge, and the shipping choices are limited to one but It was worth it in the end

This sort of purchase should only be attempted by those (like me) who are certifiably insane as these shirts cost me $70 each. However this was much cheaper than the alternative which would have involved a plane ticket to Japan.

I heard the blu-ray of LS is a up-scale. Is the quality worthwhile compared to other shows you have watched there?

The only other series I have are on DVD so I can’t really compare quality, but The quality is every bit as good as what I want.

Note: My only (small) disappointment is there seems to be no english subtitles on the OVA or the extras but I can understand just enough to get by, so I'm not too annoyed.

Note # 2: Despite appearances Lucky Star is only my second favorite anime, you can probably guess my favorite from my avatar ;)
