I understand that the digital copy is necessary for an automated plagiarism check and that many people prefer reading paper over reading from a computer screen, but I find the simple fact that reading hardcopy work is somewhat more comfortable to be vastly inferior to the benefit gained from requiring only digital copies. Countless times have I travelled over three hours just to hand in a paper and go back home.
