I understand anime TV censorship, it’s a ploy to ship more DVDs and BluRays.

But I don’t get this at all.

I say blame the Japan moral association or whatever it’s name is which frequently have it’s logo on movies and games.

@Those who said 60 years is enough No it’s not. Scars like this can last at least 3 generations, that’s 180 years. You cannot compare German to Japan, that’s totally different, if you know anything about history. Reasons as follows: 1) Jews victimized who lived in Mid Europe were nearly wiped out. There aren’t many [...]

Yes, the ‘best’ ending is when you get both girls :P
There is also one ending with Kotonoha, iirc all choices oriented towaeds Kotonoha you’d get that ending.

Sekai ended up being scolded by Makoto, and no killing took place.

Actually in real life, a person’s reaction time is at least 0.2 seconds. That’s not enough to save anyone in that situation when you don’t expect it.

In that sense, this ending is a bit unrealistic, because in the time-lapsed video they still move like they are real-time :P

I am sorry but I’ve studied in Hong Kong as well as in the UK. There is no such thing as rewritten history. The history books are accuracte. I don’t see which part of history Chinese need to rewrite about. Don’t tell me you think Nanjing massacre is all made up. That however is very much either not mentioned or just a single line in Japanese textbooks.

In reply to - Ben commented on the post China to Japan: “Now Apologise & Pay Up” Yes, but you implied this was a matter that a few disgruntled citizens decided. Yes all governments are flawed and somewhat corrupt, but China really takes the cake. Plus what the average Chinese citizen knows of patriotism today is rewritten history and seclusion from [...] · View

So Schrobby, I’ve read many of your comments, does your dictionary in your head contains only the word ‘nuke’? Do you even know what they are I wonder, how does nuking a country sovle all problems? I can’t imagine people as cold blooded as you can hide behind a comptuer screen and say things like [...]

I will quote an analysis from BBC. “Many in Japan may bristle, saying the country has caved in to Chinese pressure. But Japan certainly had a lot to lose. The economy is dependent on exports for growth, and China is its biggest trading partner. Japan’s government is looking in to reports that China stopped shipments [...]

I am disappointed by how childish and racists comments are in a sensitive matter. You think the world would be a much better place without China, think again. Without China much of the world economy collapses.

In reply to - Schrobby commented on the post Japan Frees Chinese Captain: “We Were Raped by China” China should be nuked back to the stone age, just like North Korea. · View

The original article did not have a source. Given that Sankaku Complex had always been Pro-Japan, I take that as a grain of salt.

I have high doubts that majority of Chinese would be that extreme. Of course many of them still bear grievances to the war crimes of WWII but I’d think that’s another matter. I am Chinese and I can say that I do not support anyone to be executed.

In reply to - basilio commented on the post Japan Frees Chinese Captain: “We Were Raped by China” Seeing how many Chinese people were protesting for the “immediate execution” of the “spies” and how they are boycotting Japan and calling for a large-scaled invasion, I would say the majority of their nation are douchebags. · View

I know for one Chocobos were known as 陸行鳥
Land-sailing birds in Chinese traditionally. Definitely not horsebirds, unless some crappy translators had never played FF before.

Hmm nearly all anime girls are assertive due to useless male lead. It may not be popular with general men but asertive women is definitely popular within Otakus.

  • Roland commented on the post 2ch & Korea to Mark V-J Day with Cyber War   1 year, 9 months ago · View

Actually @Rethardus and @Shippoyasha German and Japan are very different in this regards. German after WWII was ashamed of what they had done, completely disassociated themselves with the Nazis, apologised and there is absolutely no problem nowadays with any nation. Japan had not actually officially apologised to China nor Korea. China had demanded apology several times. No [...]
