So while I expect the unwashed masses… Okay, even those that shower regularly, not to give plugged nickel about my whining. And I did mention I really like the place, didn’t I? I’m sure I did, but maybe I didn’t, so I will say it now. I REALLY REALLY like Sankaku. I even send their hot topics off to interested parties. Like that thing about the head of the Sea Shepherds inferring that Japan deserved the Earthquake, Tsunami and resulting nuclear fiasco for their ongoing fandango with the whales. Sea Shepherds were aghast that such an inference could be made about them, as they claim they are people-loving, whale-hugging, non-haters. Or so their reply said. But I am on wandering tangent from my intended post.

I was whining about design. Website design. Not the place itself, just that the Dark Lords of Dufus were in obvious ascendency when it comes to the login thingambob for topic page posts over in the main section, whatever you call that portion with the hot news and views and imbedded graphics.

So I expected lots of kay-double ahr-aye-pee hit the Effin’-aye-en! And I got it. Whinging and slamming, damn, I wish I could sell trolling motors here, I’d retire as rich as Marcus Licinius Crassus.

But it was a serious criticism about design. Which I take it are not only not allowed but must be throttled, denigrated, and demeaned unto annihilation? Cool. Jam the thread door shut, throw the case hardened bolt, put on your Abus Diskus padlock on for super duper, double whammy, super security.

Me, I’m gonna stifle my urge to comment (yeah, I know I could set my system to automatically log me in, but I doan wanna), and simply go back to enjoying the great topics, the witty comments and perv on the graphics.

I am way too too lazy to open a ticket for some dodo’s jerk water design problemo. Hell, I piss on a telephone pole if I gotta go rather than take the time to find a loo.

In closing and since I will likely never post here again (or be allowed to) I just wanted to thank the folks at Sankaku for the great updates on Sony’s ongoing cluster pluck concerning being hacked. As a devoted PS3 player, I do seriously appreciate getting that info!

Fap Fap Fap

Well, as much as I like Sankaku, the actions when logging on suck pond water. No, make that cesspool effluence.

In order to post with your nickname you have to log on first, then look for threads that interest you and you want to add a comment to. Which isn’t how most people browse. They will visit a site, even one they are familiar with, find a thread that is interesting, then decide to chime in.

Sankaku allows this, but only if you want to post as Anonymous. It also offers you a “log in” button to click. How thoughtful, right? NO! It is garbage programming that: 1) sends you to a log in interface, and 2) then sends you to their homepage, not back to where you wanted to post.

Pathetic, really. Like watching a spastic scramble eggs. It works but it ain’t pretty.
