I think its mainly the shape of the chin and the mouth, its more along the line of shounen protagonist like Ichigo ( particularly the mouth) or something.

I still consider those very feminine though, maybe my aesthetic is a bit warped.

Looks pretty good so far, Jaku. Although torso and extremities looks a bit short, maybe because it is a chunky (read: muscular) Person. :p Watch out for the segmentation between hand and forearm at the wrist.
