oh..lol..i wasnt talking about backwards compatability..i was talking about the system backup…i know there was like only 2 or 3 old models that were backwards compatable… :P

I know its not..but i have a 320GB slim model that has the same backup software as my old 40GB fat system…the way to back up the entire system onto an external hard drive…thats on this one..

slims have the backup feature..at least my new one does..and ps3s are hardly useless… :P

of course, but the other side of that coin is that there was no reason for nintendo to not come out with an updated model…we got the 360 slim, the ps3 slim…now comes the wii tiny :P

Well, its been 2 months…my PS3 died on me and I finally got a new one. Sadly to say though, I DO believe FFXIII was the cause of my PS3 dying. I tried to run the same game disc on the new system and it didn’t work..started giving the same problems as the old one. So yeah..guess I’ll have to get a new copy…But anywho…I’m back online..still…[Read more]

Well, my PS3 just bricked on me. dont believe it was XII that did it, but it still sucks that it happened. hopefully ill get a new system soon and be able to transfer my hdd from this system to the next..no way im going through downloading all those games and movies all over again, let alone all my saved games

Well, its going to be a while for me to try it…my ps3 just bricked on me…not blaming XIII on it, but yeah, sucks that it happened.

about 50 miles outside of amarillo, tx…which this part of texas already being in the middle of nowhere, im in the middle of nowhere of the middle of nowhere :P

the closest gamestop from me is a good 50 miles away…all i have in this town is a hastings and they wouldnt do favors like that. i am thinking though of just renting another copy first, its just a matter of actually doing it.

my ps3 still runs other games and movies, and still works, plus i have a little table fan behind it just to keep it ventilated so overheating doesnt seem like a problem. and although i havent tried to use a different copy on my system yet, i dont want to think ill never be able to play that game again. i know theres reports of it happening out…[Read more]

never thought that the disc could have been warped. figured since it loaded to the start screen and even let me start to load a game the disc was ok. might have to look into that. as for the PS3, i dont believe it has been overheating..i have it in a decently open space with plenty of ventilation with an extra little table fan behind it to keep…[Read more]

thanks for the idea, however i got the game on release date..been too long for me to return it, so getting a new copy would have to be a must
