These are the first three 2D girls I remember really lusting over.

I remember the “Art of Fighting” anime being particularly terrible. Aside from ignoring the original source material in terms of story, it also excluded anything close to the game in terms of special moves and attacks.

Are we also including non-Japanese animation? Because China’s “Astro Plan” is also painfully terrible.

I was there for that panel as well. I was pretty surprised how many people showed up for it. But yeah, that area isn’t meant for panels at all. I didn’t feel like waiting until sunset to see the video the Harmony Gold fella brought with him.

NYAF has been shrunken down to just being an artist alley in Comic Con. So really, there is no actual “NYAF” this year. There wasn’t even a mascot contest like in previous years. And as always the “maid cafe” is a joke. The one bit of solace for all of us is at least NYAF isn’t in the basement again like it was last year. It’s on the fourth floor and has natural light pouring in.

That aside, I’m still having a great time. So much great stuff this year. I even managed to get some super cute Ika Musume keychains and Strike Witches plushes in the dealers room ^_^

The con was pretty cool today. Since it’s only Thursday, not a whole lot of people were there. The anime section is much better than last year!

I got my pass the other day. I haven’t missed a NYAF yet! :)

The only mech games I’ve ever played are Gungriffon Blaze and Robotech Battlecry.

Wasn’t Mechwarrior also a cartoon at some point?

I’ve already told my friend in Japan to pick up those items for me. The tote will be a nice bag to use at a convention, along with my Strike Witches messenger bag.
