You just have to be selective about which Wave figures you buy. A few, like the Kuroneko, are pretty off in the face, but I think the majority look fine. I think this one looks good, so do the new Fortune Arterial ones.

I think they are fine. Japan is to be commended for having a good rail system for commuters and travelers, something that is rare here in the US.
